Our Team

Terence Young, DDS smiling and crossing his arms

Thank you visiting Young Breath and Wellness. Since 2014, we began a journey of learning how sleep disordered breathing is related to systemic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, dementia and Alzheimer’s. Continuous education in airway dentistry and viewing our patients facial development from a new perspective has allowed us to aid in potentially decreasing sleep disordered breathing symptoms at very early ages. Signs of potential airway issues include small narrow dental arches, vaulted palates, mouth breathing, delayed development, tongue ties, restless unrefreshed sleep, snoring or loud breathing while sleeping, restless sleep, night terrors, anxiety, ADHD type behavior, dark circles under the eyes, poor academic performance, neck forward posture, or grumpy dispositions.  We treat children and adults and we work with our medical community to collaboratively treat our patients.

None of our office’s successful accomplishments would be possible without our spectacular team.  In many ways, they have charted a new path with little to no examples to follow, and they have done so brilliantly, compassionately and with great enthusiasm.
